The richly adorned entrance in a regional rococo style that lead into the Sandberg homestead from Storgatan is probably the most photographed archway in Nora. The property is one of the most well-preserved 18th century homesteads in the town. The courtyard features a separate building with a hipped saddle roof that in the 18th century functioned as a coffee house with rooms reserved for the district’s ironmasters.
